Why is it around every corner you find homes perched on hilltops or facing the direction of beauty. Whenever possible people put there home at a place where the view is good. Where they can wake up, look outside and be amazed. I think from our earliest moment people search out beauty and grandeur, but for what cause. Quite often when it comes to placing homes here it means more expense, more hassle, less efficiency, but yet we all desire it. Engrained in our being is a need to be amazed. To see glory and to admire it. We create art. We go to the mountains. We simply sit and watch the sun set. We each have this desire in some way, which is another evidence of God's character. He created us this way to enjoy, but also to be satisfied. His character is reflected in this. In this observation it makes much more sense that a infinitely creative and powerful God created, rather than think we all came about by chance and slow evolution. I can't reason why we would have this same appreciation had we evolved based on simple survival instinct.
