92 Who is Sick

Mark 2:17 comes with a shuddering thought. Jesus did not come for those who thought they were good enough. The reckoning realization is that we, as a blessed American people, often think we are good enough. The liberals are fooled by their morality, completely fooled by their immaturity, confusing selfishness with charity. Conservatives would generally live with a semblance of morality where it serves them, while holding on tightly to the vices still important to them. The uphill battle in the church might be a losing one, for this simple reason that we don't think we are sick.
