Luke 16:10
One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much...
More often than not, when following God, we do things in the wrong order. Luke talks about those who are faithful. Quite often it is difficult to avoid the expectation for the "much" before our faithfulness in the "little". When God has something in front of us that we deem insignificant, we snub our noses at it, rather than embrace it as a delightful gift to God. The root of which seems to again come from a measurement that is mistaken. A measure of man's importance rather than God's. The value of a small obedient action could have a critical importance from God's eternal perspective rather than our own. To measure the importance of any little act of obedience is to undermine the great things that God will turn them into tomorrow. It stands to reason that we ought to treasure the little things of today as they are grooming us into the mighty warriors we are to become.
