Is going to church primarily to seek self satisfaction and social community any different then attending a bar for the same reasons. One may be less self destructive, but both actions are attempting to fill a human need. It reinforces the thought that a consumer church is not our purpose. An outward focused healthy body of believers, working together in their gifting towards a specific purpose is. This purpose is deriven by the leading of God, but also by the gifting and desires of the body.
