76 Strong Relationship

What is it that causes relationship to grow deeper? Is it when no feathers are ruffled, no disagreement occurs, no variance, no compromise needed because complete harmony exists? Is it when life is so good and so easy that there is no need to support each through difficulty? If we conjure up relationship like all this, then what happens when the storm comes? When a relationship is tested through disagreement. When the harshest of circumstances happen not to someone else, but to us. When we are wronged and offense is picked up. When we ourselves make the mistake and forgiveness is needed? What crumbles when a relationship is tested, for it is foolishness to think that it will not be. The health and strength in a relationship comes from it's testing. With disagreement comes the chance to cement or ammend your beliefs. With difficulty comes the chance to grow perseverance and commitment to each other. Along with the need for forgiveness comes the willingness to give it. All these things are what build a strong relationship, and a strong relationship is a useful thing. It is the basis that makes more things possible. The unachievable becomes achievable, and this all points to one thing our relationship with God. When our relationship with God is grown to maturity is when we truly become capable in our lives today. When we walk in His strength is when the difference between the righteous and the wicked will again be known.
