Our perspective of God stems in part from how we choose to walk with Him. If we only give out of our abundance. If we serve only when we have energy to spare. If we only choose to love when we are loved in return. If our love is only extended to those we enjoy or who are pleasant to us. If we only move when a clear plan is laid out for us. Then we might be missing out. We might say with our lips that God is great, God is all powerful, God is ever present, but what do our lives show for it? We do not trust Him to sustain us when we need it, because we never put ourselves in the situation to need it. How long will He let us enjoy the talents He has given, before he takes them away and gives them to someone else. Our country is blessed. Has it been blessed to simply enjoy blessing, or has it been blessed so that we may venture the five talents we have been given, into His kingdom, and glean five more in return.
