35 Rugged Beauty

It seems as though humans cannot create anything as gloriously extravagant as the rugged terrain found in nature. When it comes to recognizing the beauty and brazen glory of a backcountry landscape, we all, regardless of our beliefs about the creator cannot deny the greatness of a mountain scene. It is interesting how humans will expend much energy to place their home in a scenic place or build a road to view such a glorious scene. This fact, this desire in humanity doesn't make sense to me if an evolutionary chain is our roots. It makes more sense that an extravagant God created extravagantly, and then created in us a desire to see His glory, even if we don't know Him, that desire still remains.
