Wouldn't it be amazing if God were to place in a body of believers a group of individuals who are unbound? If there were a group of people who weren't as prone to preconceived notions or social standards. A group whose minds were exploratory and seeking. What if a group like this was placed in every body of believers? At very least it might prove valuable. Their questioning growing minds would challenge older believers in a way that would spur growth on both ends. If their voices were valued we might find ourselves with more creative and unconventional ministry ideas. Listening to this group might prevent our falling into traps that the religious leaders of Jesus day fell into. We have such a group in almost every church. It is our youth. The developing and questioning mind of the teenager is valuable to the body of Christ. It challenges the mature to not get stuck in a rut. It can bring new kingdom building ideas that would not be discovered by the almost dead believers. What would a church look like that didn't just seek to entertain teenagers, but valued them instead?
