Acts 8:29
The Holy Spirit said go stand by that chariot.
What would it look like for Christians to walk in tandem with the Holy Spirit? God speaks, we act. To act on our own whit or merit is like trying to place a piece of a puzzle randomly without being able to see the picture on the box. Following the Holy Spirit may at times feel a little bit random, but even if you don't understand your obedient action God encourages enough to continue. You may be the first puzzle piece laid on the table. He may ask you to have patience until He places other pieces around you. If our spoken goal is to glorify God, then we must trust He knows the best way to do it. We ought to listen with an eagerness to tackle any giant, move any mountain, and to seek after tasks that seem too big for us alone, because that is the knowledge we have. We are not alone.
